She raised her four children on an old farm in Webster, New Hampshire. Her very first story, Pumpkin Moonshine, was published in 1938 as a gift for a young niece.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eTasha is my Imogen cut made for the colder months. I lined her all the way through, from the sleeves to the bodice to the skirt, so she feels soft and substantial from the first chilly morning to the last.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA warm fall mustard cotton, hand-block printed with cherry red and fuchsia flowers. A pink floral border trims the V-neck pleated bodice and runs along the hem. The bell sleeves flare at the wrist, the knee-length skirt moves with every step, and there are two deep pockets.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTasha is the dress I reach for when the leaves turn.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eFabric:\u003c\/strong\u003e Every Tasha is hand-block printed in Jaipur by artisan families who have practiced this craft for generations, with wooden blocks carved by hand, dipped in natural dye and pressed into the fabric one stamp at a time. I design the cut on our homestead in rural Ohio. Because each dress is made by hand, no two are identical, and slight variations in color and pattern are the mark of something real.
