Anna Marie is named for Anna Maria Lane, the first documented female soldier from Virginia to fight with the Continental Army in the Revolutionary War. Disguised as a man, she marched and fought alongside her husband, was wounded at the Battle of Germantown, and was later awarded a pension for her courage — a rare and hard-won honor for a woman of her day.
Soft blush pink climbing with roses in lilac and mauve and sage-green leaves — a whole trellis of them, gentle and romantic, like a rose garden in early bloom. A ruffle stands at the neck and opens to a soft V, the balloon sleeves gather down to a pretty ruffled cuff, and the empire seam falls into an easy swing past the waist. Fully lined through the body and sleeves, a perfect fall blouse to layer with your favorite cardigan or jacket. The full length sleeves have flare cuffs pull through your jacket sleeves when you layer it.
Fabric: Every Anna Marie is hand-block printed in Jaipur using a craft 500 years older than fast fashion — wooden blocks carved by hand, dipped in natural dye, and pressed into the fabric one stamp at a time. Designed on our homestead in rural Ohio, made in Jaipur by families who have practiced this tradition for generations. Because each piece is made entirely by hand, no two are identical — slight variations in color and pattern are not flaws, they are fingerprints. The mark of something real. No chlorinated bleaches, azo dyes, chemical washes, sprays, or preservatives are used to make or applied to our Clarity pieces. We are toxin free by design.
Care: Wash inside out with other 100% cotton fabrics on a delicate cold cycle. Hang dry. Never bleach.

Returns are accepted for 14 days. Returns must have their original tags. Buyer pays a flat rate of $15 for return shipping. Refunds will be given in the form of Clarity store credit. Refunds will not be made to the original form of payment. We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee if the customer is sending back items without their original tags or if the items have been used.

Size Guide
All measurements are in inches. Relaxed fit. Runs true to size. The chart covers women's sizes XXS through 3XL. It does not include girls' sizes.
XS–XL are stocked in limited runs, in store and online. 2XL is stocked on some styles. XXS, 3XL, and any size that has sold out, are made to order on current-season designs only and ship in 6–8 weeks.
