Plain Jane is a nod to Jane Austen, whose heroines prized good sense and quiet character over show.
Plain Jane gauzy white fabric. The ruffled collar falls softly under the collarbones and the elbow length balloon sleeves gather into a neat buttoned cuff. The empire style hem underneath the smocked neckline gently falls to the waist. Wear it with your favorite jeans or skirt for the perfect summer outfit.

Fabric: Every Plain Jane is made with the same natural dyes as our hand-block printed pieces — no block printing, just a clean, solid white. Designed on our homestead in rural Ohio. No chlorinated bleaches, azo dyes, chemical washes, sprays, or preservatives are used to make or applied to our Clarity pieces. We are toxin free by design.
Care: Wash inside out with other 100% cotton fabrics on a delicate cold cycle. Hang dry. Never bleach.

Sold out in your size? This style can be made to order just for you. Made-to-order pieces ship in 6–8 weeks and can be customized. Have a special request, like a length change? Returns are accepted for 14 days. Returns must have their original tags. Buyer pays a flat rate of $15 for return shipping. Refunds will be given in the form of Clarity store credit. Refunds will not be made to the original form of payment. We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee if the customer is sending back items without their original tags or if the items have been used.

Size Guide
All measurements are in inches. Relaxed fit. Runs true to size. The chart covers women's sizes XXS through 3XL. It does not include girls' sizes.
XS–XL are stocked in limited runs, in store and online. 2XL is stocked on some styles. XXS, 3XL, and any size that has sold out, are made to order on current-season designs only and ship in 6–8 weeks.
