Liberty — named for the women who helped build this country with their hands and their hearts. Betsy Ross sewed the first American flag stitch by careful stitch. Abigail Adams wrote the words that a new nation needed to hear. As Adams herself said: "Great necessities call out great virtues." Both are well remembered here.
Lavender, red, white, and blue hand-block printed florals — the colors of independence worn softly, the way a garden wears them rather than a flag. The bodice carries a delicate small-motif border print that reappears along the hem, framing the skirt's full floral pattern between them. The blue ribbon ties fall over the shoulders, adjustable to tie as a shoulder bow or halter style. The woven bodice is fully cotton voile lined for comfort and modesty, as is the skirt. Two deep pockets.

Fabric: Every Liberty is hand-block printed in Jaipur using a craft 500 years older than fast fashion — wooden blocks carved by hand, dipped in natural dye, and pressed into the fabric one stamp at a time. Designed on our homestead in rural Ohio, made in Jaipur by families who have practiced this tradition for generations. Because each dress is made entirely by hand, no two are identical — slight variations in color and pattern are not flaws, they are fingerprints. The mark of something real. No chlorinated bleaches, azo dyes, chemical washes, sprays, or preservatives are used to make or applied to our Clarity dresses. We are toxin free by design.
Care: Wash inside out with other 100% cotton fabrics on a delicate cold cycle. Hang dry. Never bleach.

Returns are accepted for 14 days. Returns must have their original tags. Buyer pays a flat rate of $15 for return shipping. Refunds will be given in the form of Clarity store credit. Refunds will not be made to the original form of payment. We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee if the customer is sending back items without their original tags or if the items have been used.
