Eczema Cream, With Tallow and Herbs, 2oz

Eczema, also known as atopic dermatitis, is a chronic skin condition characterized by itchy, red, and inflamed skin. Our eczema cream is high in fat, which is a key to healing and moisturizing the skin. Tallow is naturally rich in saturated fats, making it an excellent emollient. It helps to lock in moisture, which is crucial for eczema sufferers who often have dry, cracked skin due to a compromised skin barrier. By hydrating the skin, tallow can alleviate some of the dryness and discomfort associated with eczema.

Tallow is also naturally rich in vitamins that promote skin health. Vitamin A is known for promoting skin cell turnover, healing, and reducing inflammation. Vitamin D helps with skin barrier repair and has anti-inflammatory properties. Vitamin E acts as an antioxidant, protecting skin from oxidative stress, which can contribute to eczema flare-ups. Vitamin K is involved in healing processes, potentially aiding in the recovery of damaged skin.

Our eczema cream also contains organic olive oil and we infuse our grass fed tallow with herbs, including licorice root. Licorice root causes cortisol to rush to the area of the application, which promotes healing, think of it as nature's steroid. It also includes skin healing herbs, plantain and calendula. It contains a small amount of astringent herbs (rose), to help the skin tighten back after healing. We include Helichrysum essential oil to help with skin healing and pain.

In addition to this cream, we recommend vitamin D provided by sunlight! Get your skin in the sun for natural healing properties.
