Anna Marie, named for Anna Maria Lane, who was the first documented female Soldier from Virginia to fight with the Continental Army in the American Revolutionary War. She dressed as a man and accompanied her husband on the battlefield. Lane was later awarded a pension for her courage in the Battle of Germantown.
She is Clarity's first spring debut, and she arrives the way spring always does — softly, in blush.
Hand-block printed in fresh blush cotton with sage embellishments, the Anna Marie is the kind of dress that feels like a deep breath. Anna Marie is the same fabric as her sister dress Anna Smith. Where Anna Marie is a long sleeve and ankle length dress, Anna Smith is a short sleeve and knee length dress.
Fabric: Every Anna Marie is hand-block printed in Jaipur using a craft 500 years older than fast fashion — wooden blocks carved by hand, dipped in natural dye, and pressed into the fabric one stamp at a time. Designed on our homestead in rural Ohio, made in Jaipur by families who have practiced this tradition for generations. Because each dress is made entirely by hand, no two are identical — slight variations in color and pattern are not flaws, they are fingerprints. The mark of something real. No chlorinated bleaches, azo dyes, chemical washes, sprays, or preservatives are used to make or applied to our Clarity dresses. We are toxin free by design.
Care: Wash inside out with other 100% cotton fabrics on a delicate cold cycle. Hang dry. Never bleach.

Returns are accepted for 14 days. Returns must have their original tags. Buyer pays a flat rate of $15 for return shipping. Refunds will be given in the form of Clarity store credit. Refunds will not be made to the original form of payment. We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee if the customer is sending back items without their original tags or if the items have been used.
